Domestic polycrystalline diamond is a kind of diamond aggregate synthesized under high temperature and high pressure with diamond powder, using cobalt or silicon as catalyst. Relatively speaking, diamond made by these two methods has different characters. Domestic cobalt based polycrystalline diamond is closer to the characteristics of imported diamond, as to silicon-based polycrystalline diamond, except for the lower price, it has a wide gap in physical properties and product stability with imported polycrystalline diamond and domestic cobalt-based polycrystalline diamond.
